Church History
In 1973, a group of people started a fellowship at the Barangay Salvacion, Bayugan City, name Salvacion Assembly of God Church. The church persistently grows and multiplies the members over the years. In God’s time, the Lord poured His blessing to Salvacion Assembly of God Church. The church launched a partnership with the Compassion International. The pastor and members were united in prayer and work collaboratively to make the desire of the entire church came into reality. Since 2011, Pastor Rendon was guiding God’s flock and he together with the Church Board and the congregation agreed and planned to build a big church building. God is faithful in leading us and building a new church. In 2017, the church leaders decided to register the church in SEC and the Salvacion Assembly of God is now registered as the Shekinah Glory Assembly of God Church, Inc. For the 51 years of the church’s existence, God has proven His faithfulness to His people and consistently fulfilled His promise. With God’s grace and guidance, we will continue what God has given us to do and to continue to live out the vision that God established firmly on the church.
